The image above was used as research for a potential interview with the Sheffield FC ladies manager and a match report for my video piece. I planned on going to one of their matches to film the match and get some post match interviews with the players to do a highlights package.
As it was so close to the end of the season there wasn’t many games left but this research helped me as i could plan things for one of these dates.

This piece of research was done at the beginning of my FMP to get a feel for how people felt about women’s football it wasn’t for any specific piece of my content, more of some general research to get to know more about the games.
this research helped me as it made me want to do it on the topic even more because i could see there was a passion from other people for it and its obviously something thats relevant.

This website was used for my infographic. i got quite a lot of my information from here which contributed to my infographic. when doing my research for it i could that there were a lot of news story’s for women’s football however not a lot of website with facts and statistics on.

The image above was used as research for my written piece interview with Chantelle. i wanted to know a little bit about the team she managed so i looked at where they were in the league as well as some other things.
this helped me when writing my interview questions for her as i knew where they were in the league and a bit of background history on the club so i could ask more specific questions.
Although i had a little previous knowledge on camera angles and shots i still did some research before my interview on specific shots for a sit down interview.
I feel it was good to do this research as my interview could have been filmed in a completely wrong camera angle. i knew about the rule of thirds but i wasn’t 100 percent sure on it however through doing the research i felt confident i knew which shot to get when doing my interview.
I watched several video of football managers/players being interviewed. I picked quite a lot of things up from these video that i could include in my videos.
For example in most of the videos the interviewee doesn’t look directly down the camera as it makes a lot f people watching the video uncomfortable. so to make the interview better to watch the interview positions himself to the side of the camera so that the person being interviewed just looks like there having a conversation.
I plan on doing that in my interview to make it ore appealing to viewers.
The article about women’s football – not enough to just include the article – you need to show that you have read and made some notes from it. you should evaluate the research – is it relevant? will you use it? Your email to Helen should also go into your Planning blog post.

You should include a plan for your video Liam. Make a shot list which includes your ideas of where to film and what content you want in your video as well as shot types and angles. Having a plan with you on the day you film will help you to remember what your vision is for the finished piece. Make sure you film more footage than you need so that the editing process is easier.
What equipment will you need? Are you using your phone or a DSLR? Will you use a clip mic. What will you have to consider if you are filming outdoors?
You need to put all of this into your planning.
